Telephonics SkySearch-2000M combines our SkySearch 2000 Secondary Surveillance Radar (SSR) system background with our advanced military Monopulse Secondary Surveillance Radar (MSSR) technology to achieve superior target reporting for civil Air Traffic Control (ATC) applications. Our Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) and Secondary Surveillance Radar systems have been consistently providing military and civil air traffic controllers and battle management decision makers with high performance systems that efficiently and safely direct traffic, increase mission effectiveness and keep friendly forces out of harm's way. Telephonics systems are deployed at airports, on aircraft carriers and other surface vessels, on the world's fleet of AWACS aircraft, and in maritime patrol fixed and rotary wing platforms. Advances in technology and our ability to adapt military designs to meet civil ATC requirements have enabled Telephonics to provide a modular MSSR system in a redundant (2 channel) configuration. Telephonics USAF contracts to upgrade the AN/APX- 103C Airborne Early Warning IFF, the NATO AWACS Midterm Upgrade of the IFF to add ATC Mode S capability, as well as the upgrade of the USN Carrier Fleet ATC sensor extraction, represent an unparalleled technology baseline for the MSSR. SkySearch 2000M is clearly the next generation of MSSR systems with a core design concept of "adaptability through modularity and interface flexibility.
