Army - Aircraft Wireless Intercom System (AWIS)
The US Army identified an urgent need for eliminating the "long cord" used by aircraft maintenance crews to communicate between each other and to on-board aircraft personnel. Telephonics TruLink® offered the best solution and was selected as the wireless intercommunication system for the Air Warrior program. The Army quickly realized that TruLinks capability to enable hands-free, full-duplex communications in high noise environments, could be utilized in other applications including Search & Rescue, Medevac and VIP Transport.

Navy - Aircraft Wireless Intercommunication System (AWICS)
The Navy has their own critical need for wireless communications around aircraft and concluded that TruLink offered the best value to address their requirements. The Navy leveraged efforts already underway with the AWIS and have made TruLink available through the PMA209 Program Office. The AWIS and AWICS programs have subsequently partnered to develop new variants of TruLink that further enhance their operational capability over multiple applications.
Air Force
The Air Mobility Battle Lab evaluated TruLink for their own applications and concluded that the system will be a valuable asset to enhancing their operations.

United States Coast Guard
USCG has wireless intercommunication requirements for their vessels. Crew-members operate in high noise environments and require full duplex, hands free communication while performing critical tasks.
Additionally, USCG required a water-proof variant of TruLink for the submersible requirement of their 47 ft. Motor Life Boat and 25 ft. Defender Class Boats.
National Guard
TruLink is used by 27 states for multiple applications.
