Systems Engineering Group, Inc. (SEG) is a wholly-owned subsidiary and operating division of Telephonics Corporation. With over 90 employees, located in Columbia, MD, SEG provides sophisticated, highly technical engineering and analytic support to select customers including the Missile Defense Agency, Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense Program, Naval Surface Warfare Center Corona and Dahlgren Divisions, the Navy's Program Executive Offices for Integrated Warfare Systems and Ships, and the Marine Corps Systems Command. Our technical staff is superbly educated, trained, and recognized for its expertise.

Since early in its history, SEG has been a key source of engineering support services for the Navy's, and ultimately, the nation's ballistic missile defense initiatives, the Navy's AEGIS combat system development, and future surface combatant design. We are a provider of combat, radar, and missile systems engineering and analysis; software development; and test and evaluation.
We have a broad presence within the Surface Navy's PEO structure providing high-level acquisition planning support, contract management assistance, strategic planning and organizational development expertise, and AEGIS baseline management. We are well represented in the Navy's centers of excellence for Surface Warfare, including the Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS), the Naval Surface Warfare Centers, and the Zumwalt Class Destroyer Test Team at Bath Iron Works, ME.

Through our SeaPort-e delivery orders within PEO IWS and the Warfare Centers, we have established long-term relationships with major Industry providers such as Lockheed Martin and Raytheon, and Navy laboratories and federally funded research and development centers. Our expertise extends to the latest ship and combat system designs including the Air and Missile Defense Radar (AMDR), DDG 1000, AEGIS Ashore, and DDG 51 Flight III. A particular strength is our ship integration and test support capability and its application in improving Fleet Readiness as part of the AEGIS Wholeness initiative. In addition to its DoD customers, SEG provides engineering and development support for Telephonics' maritime surveillance and ground-based radar product lines.
The company's main office is located in Columbia, MD with field offices in Dahlgren, VA, Huntsville, AL, and Washington, DC. The majority of SEG's professional staff holds advanced degrees in electrical, mechanical, and aerospace engineering, physics, and computer science.
