  • Telephonics Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Griffon Corporation (NYSE:GFF), proudly announces the appointment of Mr. Felix J. Boccadoro to the position of Vice President of Washington Operations, effective immediately. Mr. Boccadoro will be the lead in broadening Telephonics presence in Washington, DC with the Executive and Legislative branches of Government as well as industry partners. With over 25 years of experience in the defense electronics industry, Mr. Boccadoro previously held strategic positions leading Thales’ Communications, Inc. Business Development & Legislative Affairs activities for their tactical communications business line. Prior to Thales, Mr. Boccadoro spent 9 years in various Engineering, Program Management and Business Development positions with Northrop Grumman supporting airborne radar systems and ground based fire control systems.Operating out of our Washington, DC office, Mr. Boccadoro will report to Mr. Mel French, Corporate Vice President of Business Development for Telephonics, who leads all tactical, strategic, and growth initiatives for the company.

    Mr. Boccadoro earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of New Haven and a Master of Business Administration from The University of Connecticut. He is a former President of the National Defense Industrial Association, Washington, DC Chapter and current member of the Board of Directors.
