  • Telephonics Delivers Enhanced Tower Operations Capability in Xian, China

  • Telephonics Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Griffon Corporation (NYSE:GFF), announced today that they have successfully installed and tested their AeroTrac Tower Expansion and System Software Upgrade for the Xian Tower in China.This effort was performed to a very aggressive schedule to support tower operations and provides Xian with proven advanced features allowing for the setup of their AeroTrac system in the "isolated" mode. This upgrade provides the ability of the tower to operate with no ATC operational interruptions when the network between the ACC Center and the new Tower is broken. In addition, this upgrade provides advanced AeroTrac features that supports parallel runway operations and increased traffic capacity.
